April Showers Bring May Flowers
What you'll need:
Paper Cups (one for each child)
Green construction paper (at least two sheets each, 3 for older kids)
Glue
Scissors
Tissue paper
Pipe Cleaners (2 per child)
Directions:
Cut out hand prints from green construction paper. How many will vary based on size of child. (3 to 4)
Glue Hand prints around base of cup to make "grass".
Poke hole in bottom of cup with a pencil
Twist two pipe cleaners together tightly, leaving about the last 1" untwisted.
Cut out 3 circles of tissue paper ...
Boo-Boo Bunnies
These little guys are cute, easy to make, and just may help boo-boos heal faster!
What you need:
- 1 washcloth - the flimsier the better
- 2 small goggly eyes
- 1 small pom-pom
- 1 rubber band
- 1 cotton ball
- 1 piece of ribbon
- hot glue gun or tacky glue
What you do:
Fold washcloth in half diagonally so it forms a triangle.

Fun Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt
Plastic Easter Eggs ( The larger ones are easier to fill)
Glow in the dark bracelets
Candy or surprises
HOW TO:
Fill the plastic Easter eggs with candy, crack the glow bracelets and place inside.
Either hide them outside for a fun outdoor Egg Hunt or around the house with the lights low.
We chose to do the hunt outside and the girls went crazy looking for all the eggs. They thought it was so much cooler than a regular egg hunt. I have to admit I loved ...
Green Bean and Tomato Salad
This is a salad I recently made for a family event, it was such a huge hit that I wanted to share it!
1 Bag frozen green beans
1 Cup sweet grape tomatoes (I cut mine in half)
1/2 Cup diced red onion
3/4 Cup feta cheese
3/4 Cup walnut pieces
1 Cup Lemon Vinaigrette salad dressing (any store bought brand will do)
1 Lemon
Steam the green beans until they are "tender-crispy". Remove from heat and place beans in ice cold water to stop the cooking ...
Macaroni Made
Easter Egg Texture Craft
You and your Macaroni Kiddo will have fun decorating these eggs that can be used in frames as Easter decoration or given to the tots in your life for some textured fun. Either way, this is an easy craft to do with all ages.
Items needed:
Textured items such as feathers, glitter, pom poms, pipe cleaners, buttons, etc.
Glue of some sort
Felt, Construction Paper, or Card Stock
Scissors
Paint brush
My Macaroni Kid and I did 4 eggs but you can do as many or few as ...

Stained Glass Fun!
Stained glass is beautiful, we'd all agree, so here is a fun and easy stained glass craft that can be used for any holiday! We used the idea for Easter this year (though I also see some fun Fall and Winter uses as well!) Little ones love the sticky laminate paper and the tactile excercise of placing tissue squares on the sticky paper. Little Easter bunnies will likely need a steady helping hand for this craft, but the result is totally worth it, as you can see!
